Plagiarism Policy

We are strongly recommend that authors screen their manuscripts for textual similarity using reliable plagiarism detection software prior to submission. This practice helps uphold the originality, academic integrity, and ethical standards of scholarly work.

All manuscripts submitted to JURNAL PADA KAWA: Arsip Kesehatan Populer are screened using Turnitin, a trusted plagiarism detection tool. If a manuscript exhibits a Similarity Index exceeding 25%, it will be returned to the author for revision before proceeding to the peer review stage. Submissions showing excessive overlap—particularly in core sections such as the methodology, results, or discussion—may be rejected if revisions fail to adequately address concerns regarding originality.

Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that all sources are properly cited and that any reused content (including figures, tables, or substantial excerpts) complies with accepted scholarly and ethical guidelines. Plagiarism in any form—including self-plagiarism (text recycling without citation)—is considered a serious violation of publication ethics and may result in immediate rejection or retraction, as well as notification to the author's institution when warranted.
