Publication Ethics

Ethical Guidelines for Authors, Reviewers, and Editors

All research involving human participants must adhere to internationally recognized ethical principles, including the Declaration of Helsinki for biomedical research and the Belmont Report for social and behavioral research. Studies involving educational interventions, surveys, interviews, or data collection from human subjects require approval from an institutional ethics review board or equivalent committee. Manuscripts must include a statement identifying the approving institution and confirmation that informed consent was obtained from all participants. For educational research involving minors, parental/guardian consent must also be documented.

Research involving animals must comply with the International Principles for Biomedical Research issued by the International Council of Organizations of Medical Sciences (CIOMS) and relevant national guidelines for animal welfare. Authors must provide details of institutional approval and describe measures taken to minimize animal suffering and reduce animal numbers.

For engineering and applied technology research involving field trials, environmental impact assessments, or industrial processes, authors must confirm compliance with relevant national safety regulations, environmental protection standards, and occupational health guidelines. Where applicable, institutional safety committee approval should be stated.

Manuscripts lacking appropriate ethical statements for human subjects, animal research, or field applications will not be accepted for publication.

As a fundamental principle, ethical publication practices are essential to maintaining research integrity. The publisher respects editorial independence and does not interfere with content integrity, providing only timely publication support.
